October 18-21 – Antifaschistischer Jugendkongress 2018
In the news you hear again of a attack against a refugee accommodation in your area. In school or during your apprenticeship you not only have to deal with the pressure to perform, but also face the discriminating slogans of fellow pupils and and authority figures.
Possibly heated debates with relatives are by no means uncommon. On top of it, the nearest youth center is far away and there is no bus running after 8 pm.
At the same time the state pushes ahead with more deportations, criminalises left groups and structures and down plays right wing violence.
Instead of waiting for any change, let’s just take matters into our own hands! In order to encourage each other to create an opportunity to inform each other and to organise ourselves, we cordially invite you to the anti-fascist youth congress 2018 (JUKO).
This year there will be an emphasis on the continued right wing shifts and the coming provincial elections (for example in Saxony). But of course there will also be other issues covered such as feminism, social struggles, climate justice, antisemitism and many more. Come to the (anti-fascist) youth congress 2018 to Chemnitz and let’s tackle the future!
This year the JUKO takes place from 18. – 21. October 2018 in the AJZ Chemnitz. Participation is for free. Entertainment, inputs, a variety of workshops, music, accommodation, chilling and thrilling is provided. Food and drinks are on donations basis.
