The European Union has blood on its hands!
This Wednesday 4 March at 17h00, the EU is holding an extraordinary Migration and Home Affairs Council (HOME affairs) Council meeting about the situation with Greece’s and Bulgaria’s borders with Turkey. The ministers of the EU’s 27 Member States will be discussing the “protection of the external borders” of the EU.
They will not be discussing human rights; nor respecting the right to asylum; nor the conditions of “survival” for for people who are currently at the borders of Europe. Nor will they be discussing the thousands of human lives that are at riskm or that have already been lost trying to reach Europe.
