July 14, London – Against Trump, Against the Alt-Right
In the month of July Trump will visit the UK, and people from all over the country will descend upon London to either support or oppose him. He stands for so many ideas and beliefs that are simply unacceptable and we want his support to be dwarfed by opposition. Some have declared their open support for Trump and are organizing an event to welcome him to the US embassy on the 14th of July. We will demonstrate on the same day outnumbering any support for him. We want to send a very clear message to Trump that he is not welcome here. Although there is an event for the 13th, it does little to oppose Trump or those supporting him, if he’s arriving the day after and his supporters are gathering the day after it doesn’t achieve much. We know Trump has a tiny attention span you think he’ll notice the march before his arriving compared to the one when he does? So if you want to actually be noticed and make an impact, come on the 14th as well.
