Demonstration: Justice for Louay
Join us next Tuesday April 10 at 10:30 in a demonstration in front of the Rechtbank in Amsterdam, to support Louay Al-Zekra during his court hearing, and to ask the Dutch authorities not to deport him to Lebanon or to any other country, and give him his right to international protection by allowing him to appeal a new asylum request in the Netherlands. Louay Al-Zekra, a 25-year-old Lebanese asylum seeker, has been seeking asylum in the Netherlands for almost three years in vain, after having fled persecution in Lebanon because of his sexual orientation. This demonstration asks for justice in the handeling of Louay’s asylum case, against his deportation and the deportation of all LGBTQI+ refugees.
