Dans le cadre du Revolution Fest VII – 2019, Dure Réalité et Casse Sociale présentent le documentaire “Alt-Right – Age of Rage” en compagnie de l’activiste antifasciste Daryle Lamont Jenkins.
Daryle Lamont Jenkins, qui est interviewé dans le documentaire, viendra ensuite présenter l’évolution des mouvements d’extrême-droite et antifasciste aux États-Unis depuis l’arrivée de Donald Trump au pouvoir, une époque entre autres marquée par les événements de Charlottesville durant lesquels la militante Heather Heyer fut assassinée par un nervis d’extrême droite.
Daryle Lamont Jenkins milite contre la suprématie blanche et l’extrême droite depuis la fin des années 1980. En 2000, il fonde l’organisation One People’s Project dédiée à la lutte contre l’extrême droite.

Aux États-Unis, les heurts se multiplient entre membres de l’ultradroite, qui fédère groupuscules racistes, Ku Klux Klan et néonazis, et les antifas, déterminés à les combattre. Au travers de portraits croisés de représentants des deux mouvances, un documentaire glaçant sur la guerre des races en Amérique. 12 août 2017, à Charlottesville. Lors d’une manifestation de suprémacistes blancs, la voiture d’un activiste d’extrême droite fonce sur la foule des militants antiracistes qui leur font face.

As part of the Revolution VII, Dure Réalité and Casse Sociale present the documentary “Alt-Right – Age of Rage” with antifascist activist Daryle Lamont Jenkins.
Daryle Lamont Jenkins, interviewed in the documentary, will be presenting the evolution of far-right and antifascists movements since the rise to power of donald trump in the United States. An evolution that includes, among other events, the events that took place in Charlottesville where activist Heather Heyer was killed by a far-right ass hat.
Daryle Lamont Jenkins fights against white supremacists and the far right since the end of the 80’s. In 2000, he founded the One People’s Project organization as a mean to continue the fight against far right movements.

Synopsis :
In the first year of the Trump presidency, the Alt-Right is on the rise and civil rights organizations like the shadow collective Antifa and the NAACP are fighting back. Following such leaders as, Richard Spencer, an Alt-Right leader and Daryle Lamont Jenkins, an Antifa activist, “Alt-Right: Age of Rage” investigates both sides of the battle, in a hard-hitting expose. As tensions between Americans boil over, the battle culminates in the tragic events of Charlottesville, VA.
