<p>Do you know of any martial arts that can be safely and effectively practiced by someone with a disability that leaves them delicate physically? I have hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and osteoporosis, so all of my bones and joints are easily injured. I had to quit Tae Kwon Do because of it years ago, but I miss practicing and I worry about my ability to defend myself now. Currently, I’m fully mobile, just fragile and in mild to moderate pain most of the time, though there’s a significant risk I could lose mobility as time goes by (possibly while I’m still relatively young). </p> SOURCE: antifainternational.tumblr.com]]>
