<p>De-radicalization anon here! I started by having 'debates' with him, and talking him around in circles until we found an opinion he had that didn't match the far-right brain washing. I kept on that for like 3 years, just trying to get him to recognize the disconnect . Once I thought I had a pretty good foothold, i starting showing him leftist youtubers- starting out with hbomberguy's gaming analysis videos to get him comfortable. I didnt want him to instinctively jerk away and shut down. Then his "flat earth: a measured response" because my fiance wasnt a flat earther and could recognize how wack it was. Then I moved on to the philosophy tube channel, again starting with the more innocuous (stealth) videos. Once he was comfortable with those two channels, we slowly started watching the more overtly leftist videos! And that got him thinking and wanting to do his own research- and voila!
