October 6, London – LAFA Strategy Day
LAFA STRATEGY DAY! If you or your group have been involved in organising LAFA we’d love to have you along to a LAFA strategy meeting on 6 Oct (venue and other details to be confirmed). Maybe you were active in some of the early meetings or demos before LAFA started, you’d be very welcome to attend and share your thoughts. LAFA now has four regional groups within London as well as affiliated member groups, we’ve successfully organised two counter demos (and lots of meetings!). It’s been hard work, but we’ve done it, LAFA is a functioning group opposing the far-right in London. But now we want to take a step back, consider why LAFA was started, think about where we are and what we’ve done and strategise about where we want to go next. Looking ahead, with impending Brexit chaos and a continutally emboldened far right here, as well as around the world, we’re going to need a powerful, well organised opposition.
