November 22, 2020 – As a woman compares herself to anti-Nazi resistance member Sophie Scholl at a ‘Querdenker’ (Covid-denier) rally in Hannover, a disgusted security guard quits on the spot.
As in most countries, the anti-mask covid denier movement in Germany is filled with neo-nazis. During earlier Querdenker demonstrations in Germany, for example in Berlin and Leipzig, far-right hooligans and neo-nazis attacked journalists, police and counter-protesters. Sophie Scholl, her brother and several other members of the White Rose resistance group were executed by the Nazis. She was only 21 years old when she died.
