July 13, New London – Nazi Out Now!
New London business Dev’s on Bank Street has continued to protect their Nazi cook Trevor Blize from calls that he be fired for his role in organizing neo-nazi political power in Connecticut. Trevor Blize was arrested in 2015 for repeatedly harassing members of the Jewish community outside of Congregation Beth El with anti-semitic slurs. More recently, he has been spreading hate speech on social media under the twitter handle “@cooking4hitler”, “@theshoadfool”, and most recently “@cultofaryancooking”. Despite knowing all of this to be true, Dev’s on Bank St. has first denied that Blize works there, then acknowledged that he does, but claimed “fake news” despite Blize’s own claim that he is a Nazi. When confronted with evidence of Blize’s words and actions, one man in the restaurant resorted to shouting “who cares if he’s a Nazi?” We believe that many people do care, and we are calling for a demonstration demanding that Dev’s fire Trevor Blize or face an organized boycott of their business. We intend to show them that Connecticut won’t stand for Nazis or their sympathizers in our communities.
