www.facebook.com/events/1944956135604151For those who don’t know who we’re talking about – Jordan Peterson is a psychology professor at the University of Toronto who became famous in 2016 for opposing a bill which outlawed discrimination based on gender identity and expression. This made lots of angry morons clap and cheer and he’s been banking on it ever since. His YouTube channel has over 1.8 million subscribers and his Patreon was making him just under $1m a year before he deleted it in December.
Some of his beefs include feminism and its “assault” on the “masculine spirit”, the concept of white privilege, trans peoples’ right to basic respect and the great evil of “political correctness”, which according to Peterson is “demolishing the fundamental substructure of Western civilization”. He also reckons the cure for male violence is enforced monogamy and that climate change is a myth 🙃
Peterson has publicly disavowed the far-right, but he still takes their money, appears on their shows and promotes their ideas. He’s also still an arsehole with shit opinions who makes money reinforcing the victim complexes of violent, angry dudes. So no, we don’t really care if he doesn’t even like Trump.
