January 23, Warsaw – Youth Versus Violence – Varsovians for Peace

Varsovians Versus Violence in cooperation with Youth for Peace and the ‘NEVER AGAIN’ Association with great pleasure invite you to a special event: ‘Youth Versus Violence – Varsovians for Peace’. The topic of this meeting is the rise of hate crimes and the role of youth in countering them. The conference will be held in Collegium Civitas, Warsaw. Our guest speaker – Dr. Anna Tatar (representative of the ‘NEVER AGAIN’ Association) will be sharing critical research on hate crimes, xenophobia and racism in Poland in 2019, documented in the new edition of the ‘Brown Book’. This report collects acts of violence and examples of extremist hate speech. In the second part of the event, Varsovians Versus Violence will share insights on how they have run a social project led by youth. This is a great opportunity to learn from an expert and join peace-building programs to continue working on youth empowerment and social transformation with Youth for Peace Student Association!
