January 12, London – LAFA South Open Assembly

Look out there Fascism, LAFA South is having it’s first open assembly! This is a public event that anyone can turn up to – whether you’re a seasoned anti-fascist or you’ve only watched curiously from afar, you’ll find something interesting. If you want to get involved this is also a really good way to come down, meet the crew, and find out more. We’ll also have a social after where we can all let our hair down and talk shit about the right wing. On the agenda we have: – A talk about the Battle of Lewisham from someone who was actually there.
– An ‘Assorted Shitheads of the Far-Right’ presentation, looking deep into the faces of some of the far right’s most terrible people, complete with embarassing stories – both fun and educational for the aspiring fash-spotter.
– A talk about the situation in Rojava and the importance of internationalism in anti-fascism.
– A space to discuss future actions, things we can do in South London, and how to get involved further. If you have ideas about how to tackle fascism, this is a great chance to mull those thoughts over and start taking steps to make them a reality. We will also be providing snacks – anti-fascism is hungry work. Solidarity and hope to see you there,
