December 7, London – Bum Boys Against Boris: Dog Wedding & Protest Outside Tory HQ!

MAN & WOOF WEDDING & PROTEST // TORY CAMPAIGN HQ Boris Johnson once said: “If gay marriage was OK then I saw no reason in principle why a union should not be consecrated between three men and a dog.“ On Saturday 7th join us in ‘marrying’ three men and a dog and then protesting outside the Tory HQ ✊🌈✊🌈✊🌈✊🌈✊🌈✊🌈✊🌈 Boris Johnson wants your vote on Dec 12, but what has he done for us lately? He once attacked, “Labour’s appalling agenda, encouraging the teaching of homosexuality in schools”… He referred to gay people as “tank topped bumboys”, in an article celebrating the resignation of a politician that had not publically come out yet… And whilst queer activists fought another civil rights battle in the form of the campaign for equal marriage, he concluded, “if gay marriage was OK… then I saw no reason in principle why a union should not be consecrated between three men, as well as two men, or indeed three men and a dog”. Well it turns out gay marriage is OK, but Boris definitely isn’t, and it’s time to kick him out. Come join “bumboys” against Boris (tank tops optional), on SATURDAY 7TH DECEMBER, to hear from those fighting the tories hateful policies, and most importantly help consign a bigot to the history books. We’ll congregate outside Tory HQ for the big gay day, where we’ll declare the happy quartet, “man and woof” – there won’t be a dry eye in the house 😭. We’ll hear from very special guests on the threat of a Boris Johnson government to minority communities, before taking the wedding procession to Downing street to complete the nuptials with a mass kiss-in 😘 and dog petting 🐶 🐕🕺🐕🕺🐕🕺🐕🕺🐕🕺🐕🕺🐕🕺🐕🕺 WHY COME? Apart from the litany of bigoted comments already mentioned, the tories have not committed to changing the Gender Recognition Act to stop transgenderism being classified as a mental illness and make it easier to legally change gender; haven’t pledged to banning damaging conversion therapy; and won’t commit to rolling out PrEP, that can reduce contracting HIV by 89%. And we are an intersectional community. We are LGBTQ. We are all races, genders, and faiths. We are migrants. And we are allies. We stand in solidarity with all communities at risk from a tory government. So bring your friends, bring your dog, bring your secret gay crush, bring (biodegradable) confetti. Wear your finest garbs.
