December 14, London – Soho Street Collection: Refugee Legal Support Athens
❄️To stave off those winter blues we’ll be descending upon Soho like glorious snowflakes for our winter bucket shake. ❄️🌈✊🏼 *queer-mas carols TBC* For this this rendition we’ll be raising money for Refugee Legal Support-Athens and their brilliant work. In an environment in which refugees are systematically obstructed from the appropriate legal and administrative support for their cases, Refugee Legal Support Athens is a small team of volunteer lawyers who provide free legal support to refugees at their legal clinic in Athens. Through their casework they assist in reuniting families, support asylum cases and even provide jobs for refugees to aid in integration. https://www.refugeelegalsupport.org/ Starting at 6:30pm, we will gather at the corner of Old Compton Street and Frith Street. We will be out and about for a few hours before retreating to a close by venue to socialise 💃🍻 This event is for everyone, from old timers to newbies interested in getting involved with LGSM, as we raise money for this important cause. As ever, we will team people up, so don’t worry if you’ve never participated in a bucket-shake before! Everyone is very friendly and for many of us this was how we first got involved with LGSM! 💕
