Meanjin (Brisbane) Invasion Day
The 26th of January is and always will be Invasion Day a day of mourning and a day to resist the continued colonial oppression our people face.
Come stand and march with our people as we let Australia know this is our land and always will be, changing the date won’t change history we want to ABOLISH AUSTRALIA DAY.
Get involved in the lead up to Invasion Day we will have Solidarity workshops, 7 Days Of Resistance and a community Banner making Day. Flyers will be made for these events with dates and locations so watch this space and keep the fire burning.
We will start to gather at 10:30am at Parliament House, we will than listen to many speakers from the community, than head on to march back over to Musgrave Park for food live music and traditional dancing. We are hoping to be back to the park by 1:30am.
