In occasione della manifestazione antifascista di Macerata, silenziata, osteggiata e boicottata dal sindaco e dal ministro vogliamo vederci anche noi simbolicamente a Cable Street! Sono ovviamente benvenutissime le partecipazioni di simpatizzanti, antifascisti, amiche e amici di ogni provenienza e percorso politico che si sentano unit* nell’antifascismo.
THEY SHALL NOT PASS! ✊Last Saturday, the 2nd February a man called Luca Traini shot 6 people in the Italian city of Macerata. Traini had connections with far right fascist groups and had even stood as a candidate with the Northern League, he had a fascist symbol tattooed on his forehead and after carrying out the attack he was seen doing a roman salute whilst holding the Italian flag. The people he attached were all black. This was a horrific racist attack carried out by a known fascist.
This Saturday there will be a national anti-fascist demonstration in the city of Macerata. And we here in London will show our support for the demonstration, meeting outside the memorial to the battle of cable street to record a message to send to Italy. We invite everyone (Italians and non) to join us in making this message loud and clear:
