Since 2015, it has provided direct support to nearly 500 anti-fascists in twenty different countries It’s completely transparent (here’s the blog) and all decisions are made democratically. Here’s what one person – a survivor of the 2017 Charlottesville white supremacist terror attack – had to say after the Defence Fund helped to pay for her 6th recovery operation: “Oh my gosh thank you **so** much. I am so incredibly grateful I am crying. I seriously can’t thank you enough. So many people seem to have already forgotten about the car attack. Unfortunately there are those of us who still live with its ramifications every day. Thank you for not forgetting about me.” We co-founded the Defence Fund and continue to do whatever we can to raise money to support it.
