LONDON(ish) REPORTBACK! (via Sheffield Anti Fascist Network): Extreme right group Generation Identity attempted to hold a conference today but things didn’t go quite according to plan..They had claimed that the conference would be held at a secret location in Greater London, but antifascists discovered that it was taking place in Sevenoaks, Kent, and made sure that the conference got shut down by mid-afternoon. The conference attracted around 60 people, which is 60 people too many but must be a disappointment for the organisers of what was supposed to be a pan European gathering, and a lot of the attendees will be wary of attending a GI UK event again after the organisers couldn’t even stop a secret conference from being shut down.Tomorrow GI claim they will be at Speakers Corner in Hyde Park, and antifascists will be out to oppose them.
