In honor of our 7th anniversary, each day this month we will post one of
our favorite antifascist actions from around the world from the past
year!
Today:
June 19 2020 – Protesters pulled down two bronze statues of Confederate
soldiers from the Confederate monument in Raleigh, on Juneteenth. They
then hung the statue of a cavalryman by its neck from a streetlight. The
other statue, an artilleryman, was dragged through the streets and left
at the Wake County courthouse.
